What to Expect at Your First Walk-In Visit

If you have never been to a chiropractor, walking in cold can feel like a leap. It should not. Here is exactly how a first visit to Capac Chiropractic goes, so you know what you are walking into.

1. You walk in, no appointment needed

Come in during office hours and tell the front desk what is bothering you. There is a bit of paperwork the first time, the same kind you would expect anywhere. If it is a busy morning you might wait a little while the folks ahead of you get adjusted. Bring a coffee.

2. We figure out what is actually wrong

I sit down with you and do an honest exam. I want to know what happened, where it hurts, what makes it better or worse, and what you are trying to get back to doing. If I need an x-ray to see what is going on, we have digital x-ray right here, and I only take one if it will actually change what I do.

3. You get the straight story

Then I tell you what I find, in plain English. Whether I can help, what it will take, and roughly how long. If it is not a chiropractic problem, I will say so and point you to the right kind of doctor. No runaround.

4. Most of the time, you get treated the same visit

If it is something I can help with, we usually get started that day. That might be an adjustment, hands-on or with an instrument if you would rather not be twisted, plus whatever therapy fits: decompression, soft tissue work, or a pain-relieving modality.

5. No long-term contract, ever

Here is what you will not get: a hard sell on months of prepaid visits. I do not do long-term up-front treatment plans. You come back when it helps you, and we adjust course if something is not working.

That is the whole thing. If you have a question before you come in, or you would rather have a time held for you, just call.
